“I rarely take time out to review anything and especially tradesmen but Dave Finney (Plumbing) is the exception.

We've had a long outstanding problem with our unvented tank spuriously leaking for some time and a number of plumbers have failed to fix. But that wasn't the reason we called the plumber, that was because the boiler after a prolonged time of having the reset to start up had finally given up the ghost and wouldn't start at all so with two young children we had to get it fixed quickly and had set our minds that we had a hefty bill ahead of us in replacing the boiler. Mr Finney was called and was with us within hours. Understood the history to the problem even with my poor description, and within a very short time diagnosed the fault, retrieved and replaced the worn part and fixed the boiler to our shock as we were expecting to be buying a new one or the usual hours of trial and error and then at least a new PCB needed. I then threw in the longstanding issue with the tank, he popped up and had that fixed in minutes.

I waited a week before writing this and it's the first time for 18 months we haven't had a leak!! Punctual, obviously a good plumber, clean and tidy, very good rates/price and also personable/polite (and you have to be very tolerant to put up with our kids and dog). If you've got a central heating problem then I wouldn't hesitate recommending Dave Finney!!”
